As the Procurement Specialist you will be joining a prestigious professional services firm looking to professionalise its procurement function, working closely with the Head of Procurement. This is a broad role with exposure to all indirect categories covering the full end to end procurement process providing an excellent opportunity for someone to develop into a Procurement Manager. Key responsibilities:
- End-to-end procurement activities; benchmarking, RFx activity, contract negotiation, relationship management (SRM) and supplier transition management.
- Improve alignment with key stakeholders to create and lead category strategies.
- Work with business partners on managing performance of contracts to drive improvements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, establishing proactive and appropriate levels of governance.
- Prepare, challenge, and negotiate beneficial commercial contracts.
- Manage and update contract and supplier databases.
- Engagement with key suppliers in developing responsible procurement strategies.
To be considered:
- Procurement Analyst / Category Specialist / Procurement Manager
- Experience across broad indirect categories including IT / Tech.
- Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
- Proven track record of adding value and delivering savings to commercial agreements.
On Offer:
- £50,000 - £60,000.
- 3 days / week in London.
