THE ROLE
Join the BI reporting analytics team building self-serve dashboard infrastructure. The team is migrating from Tableau to Lightdash (Looker-based tool) and needs someone to hit the ground running.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build self-serve dashboards in Lightdash
Conduct product analytics (user behavior, feature adoption, customer journeys)
Design and analyze A/B tests
Work with SQL and dbt to transform data
Create semantic models for consistent reporting
Collaborate with product and commercial teams
Take ownership from question to production dashboard
TECH STACK
BI: Lightdash (Looker-based)
Database: Cloud data warehouse
Transformation: dbt
Languages: SQL (essential), Python (nice to have)
WHAT YOU NEED
Essential:
- 3-5 years in product analytics, BI, or data analysis
- Strong SQL (complex queries, joins, window functions, CTEs)
- Looker, Looker Studio, or LookML experience
- dbt experience or strong interest
- A/B testing or dashboarding experience
- Fintech or consumer tech background
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter mindset
Nice to have:
- Amplitude, Mixpanel experience
- Python skills
- Subscription/membership business experience
- Modern data stack familiarity
IDEAL BACKGROUND
Product/BI/Data Analyst from companies like Monzo, Revolut, Starling, Just Eat, Deliveroo, Curve, Wise, Freetrade, Trading, or similar fintech/consumer tech.
WHAT'S ON OFFER
Salary: Up to £70,000
Contract: 6-month FTC (strong potential to go permanent)
Location: Leicestershire (1 day/month) or potentially fully remote for exceptional candidates
