Summary
Job Description
Product designers at Checkout.com craft world-class financial products and payment experiences that are intuitive, empowering, and grounded in user needs. You’ll be an integral part of the product development process, shaping ideas, designing end-to-end flows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver elegant solutions that drive impact for our merchants.
At Checkout.com, you’ll design tools that power critical payment operations for businesses of all sizes, from fast-scaling startups to global enterprises. Our users rely on us to move money, manage risk, and optimise performance. As a design team, we aim to set a new standard for enterprise UX by combining deep customer insight with exceptional craft.
You’ll report to the Product Design Director working across three of our product pillars: Payment Performance, Emerging Products, and Financial Experiences.
The Payment Performance pillar focuses on increasing acceptance rates for our merchants. Grouped together in this pillar are the main levers across the payment lifecycle that can impact this metric including how we manage our fraud and performance optimizations.
Emerging products focuses on “new bet” products that complement our core enterprise offering and are still on the path to establishing product-market fit.
The Financial Experiences pillar is developing a more fully fledged financial platform, focused on building solutions for merchants to manage funds on the Checkout platform. The mission is to provide our users modern tools to store, move, borrow, and grow funds.
You will be working closely with peers across Product, Engineering and Research. As part of a fast-moving team, we’re looking for a self-driven individual who can take ownership of scoped product areas and deliver high-quality design work with clarity and focus. You'll help us raise the bar for design craft while contributing to a thoughtful and inclusive team culture.
