Product Designer - (Remote - London based)

The role:

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our small Product team. Things move quickly, but everyone is very friendly and will help you learn the ropes. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders from across the business to design user-friendly, intuitive experiences that help us build better tools for couriers, customers, and internal teams.

This is also a hands-on role where you’ll work directly with both customers and couriers, running user interviews, leading usability sessions, and joining courier days, where you’ll experience the product in the real world by using our app on actual jobs or riding along with couriers to see how your designs perform on the ground.

You’ll be reporting to our Product Manager. We’re a remote-first team, but there will be occasional requirements to join in-person team sessions or user research visits. You will need to be London based.

• Have solid experience designing user-centred digital products
• Are confident in Figma (components, variants, auto layout — the whole lot)
• Know how to balance UX thinking with polished visual design
• Love working directly with users and translating insights into action
• Can clearly explain design decisions to technical and non-technical folks alike
• Have a good grasp of mobile-first and responsive design
• Enjoy working in small teams and building trust through open collaboration
• You believe your work isn’t finished until the feature is live, functional, and delivering value, because shipping is a team effort.

Skills and experience:

• 5+ years experience designing digital products
• Confident using Figma (including components, variants, auto layout)
• Strong UX thinking, with experience designing user flows and wireframes
• Good visual design skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable running user research or collaborating closely with those who do
• Able to clearly present and communicate design ideas to a range of stakeholders
• Strong understanding of responsive design and scalable interface patterns

Tools:

• You will be issued a laptop, (and external monitor if required).
• Figma (our primary design tool)
• Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
• Slack (team comms)
• Notion (documentation and project planning)

Would be a benefit:

• Experience working in Agile-driven teams
• Experience working in environments where data and user insights drive decisions
• Familiarity with front-end development or working with dev handoff
• Comfortable working in startup environments and/or small, independent teams
• Experience designing simple, intuitive booking flows that make complex journeys feel effortless
• Experience with brand or graphic design
