Your Impact
As Marketing Manager, you will serve as a central force (spider in the web) driving the success of Axis-ALIF in the U.S. market, balancing strategic product development with tactical project execution and cross-team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Product Management
- Be the voice of the customer: Lead surgeon, OR staff, distributor and sales team feedback loops to guide product improvements, messaging, and roadmap prioritization.
- Launch execution: Own end-to-end commercial readiness and go-to-market planning for product launches and line extensions – including toolkits, messaging, and rollout coordination.
- Sales enablement: Project manage the development and delivery of high-impact assets – presentations, brochures, case studies, videos – that clearly differentiate Axis-ALIF and empower sales reps and distributors.
- Lifecycle ownership: Project manage portfolio planning, obsolescence tracking, and ongoing product performance analysis.
- Product focus: know, share and educate all ins and outs of Axis products and associated surgical procedures, as well as positioning when compared to competitive alternatives.
Project Management & Field Support
- Lead event planning and execution: Coordinate logistics for U.S. surgeon labs, conferences, distributor and surgeon meetings, and training events – including travel, invites, materials, compliance, and post-event metrics.
- Drive communications: Manage internal and external stakeholder updates, ensuring visibility and alignment across commercial, clinical, and R&D teams.
- Content and channels: Own updates across website, social media (LinkedIn), MailChimp, and other digital platforms – aligning messaging to campaign and sales goals.
- Execution discipline: Maintain and update the marketing communications calendar, track milestones and measure ROI for campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Compliance focus: Ensure promotional activities align with FDA, Sunshine Act, and AdvaMed guidelines.
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education
- 5-10 years of experience in product and/or marketing management, in medical devices (spine or orthopaedics a strong plus)
- Proven ability to manage product launches and lead cross-functional commercial projects
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a bias for execution
- Experience engaging directly with surgeons, sales teams, and R&D
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and modern project management tools
Preferred
- Advanced degree in healthcare, marketing, or business
- Familiarity with CMS (e.g., WordPress), CRM platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, and/or AI content tools
- Experience managing digital campaigns and multichannel outreach
- Comfortable working across time zones and supporting U.S.-based activities
- Experience working in heavily regulated environments (FDA, AdvaMed)
