Are you a compliance professional with a sharp eye for product oversight and a talent for engaging stakeholders across the business? We’re hiring for a newly created Product Governance Analyst role at a well-established UK financial services firm known for its client-centric approach and high regulatory standards.
This is a unique chance to shape and embed robust product governance frameworks from the ground up, working cross-functionally with senior leaders in compliance, risk, proposition, and front-line advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain product governance frameworks in line with FCA rules (PROD, Consumer Duty).
- Assess product value and suitability, ensuring alignment with target markets and fair customer outcomes.
- Embed Consumer Duty principles across the product lifecycle (design, review, monitoring).
- Engage stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Product, and Advice teams.
- Produce MI and reports on product performance, risks, and compliance.
- Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation of relevant changes.
- Improve policies and processes to strengthen governance and regulatory compliance.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a compliance, governance, or product oversight role within financial services.
- Background in wealth and investment management, with a solid understanding of advice and investment products and open to consider wider financial services industries.
- Proven experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and oversight processes in regulated environments.
- In-depth understanding of the FCA’s Consumer Duty requirements and how they apply across the product lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply UK regulatory standards (e.g. PROD, COBS, SYSC).
