What will you be doing?
Data Collections Sits Within The Digital Product Directorate In Our Data, Technology & Innovation Division. We Design, Deliver And Continuously Improve Two Essential Products That Support Our Mission To Be a World-class, Data-led Regulator
- My FCA – A user-friendly portal offering a single, streamlined entry point for all external FCA interactions, including RegData, Connect and the Online Invoicing System.
- RegData – Our core regulatory data collection platform, trusted by over 110,000 users across 42,000+ authorised firms, facilitating more than 750,000 submissions annually.
We Work Collaboratively Across The Organisation To Build Inclusive, Intuitive Products That Empower Users And Drive Innovation In Regulatory Technology. Expect To
- Empower and support a team of 20 colleagues and approximately 110 supplier resources, creating a supportive environment where people feel valued and empowered
- Take ownership of product delivery, ensuring development and operations run smoothly, efficiently and in alignment with user and organisational needs
- Collaborate on architectural decisions, ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards and deliver reliable, high-quality services
- Oversee a budget of around £10m, managing resources responsibly and ensuring accurate recharging to sponsoring divisions and projects
- Proactively manage risks and issues, resolving technical debt and focusing on continuous improvement
- Foster strong supplier relationships, encouraging open dialogue and shared commitment to delivering excellent performance

Which skills are required?

Minimum
- Experience leading teams of employees and third-party suppliers responsible for complex data platforms or products, spanning both IT change and operational support
- Experience managing services across incident and problem resolution, supporting a diverse business environment with multiple stakeholder needs
- Experience managing DevSecOps capability within a complex environment
Essential
- Experience estimating resource, cost and time requirements to deliver change and run activities across multiple products, with a track record of delivering on plan
- Proven capability in managing software application and infrastructure lifecycles, including development and change activities, with knowledge of AWS services
- Confidence working within large, standards-based corporate environments, consistently meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
