Role: Product Manager
As a
Product Manager you will take ownership of defining and delivering omnichannel payment experiences for the
Smartpay Advance payment gateway. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the payment method strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to translate business needs into innovative, scalable solutions.
You will serve as the central point of contact for the products you manage, driving the product vision, developing a long-term roadmap, and delivering measurable value aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, regulatory changes, and competitive opportunities.
- Monitor product performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with risk and governance frameworks across all product activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of payment method initiatives—from concept through to live client deployment.
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and partners to ensure seamless integration and service quality.
- Define and own the product vision for payment methods within the Smartpay Advance gateway.
Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
- Deep understanding of payment methods relevant to corporate merchants.
- Proven experience in product management within a fintech or payments environment.
- Experience delivering projects from inception to live client use.
- Familiarity with third-party payment providers and partner ecosystems.
- Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and agile delivery methodologies.
- nfluence decision-making and contribute to policy development across business functions.
- Lead or collaborate on complex, cross-functional initiatives with strategic impact.
