Product Manager

📍 Location: London (E1) + 2 days/month in our Lincoln office (we cover travel)

🔔 Heads up: This is a mid-level role. You’ll need proven Product Management experience. You’ll be our only PM focused on Insurance Products, so you’ll own it end to end.

🖥 Hybrid working: 2 days/week in London office, 3 days remote.

• We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution 🏠
• Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 320 Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission! 💚

💼 The Opportunity: Own It. Shape It. Grow It.

This isn’t just a PM role, it’s full ownership of our Insurance Products. You’ll:

• Partner with our MD of Insurance to set the vision and direction
• Plan, prioritise and deliver product roadmaps, ensuring buy in at each step of the development process
• Own discovery, conducting market, competitor & user research, run customer interviews, surveys, usability testing
• Define & test hypotheses and MVPs, whilst using a mix of qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision making
• Lead kick offs, check-ins, workshops, retrospectives and a variety of other meetings with people across the business right up to the CEO.

🔍 What we need from you

• Travel-ready: Comfortable with 2 days/month in Lincoln (travel covered)
• Proven PM skills: Confident, commercially savvy, and experienced working with senior stakeholders
• User-obsessed: Skilled at uncovering real needs and translating them into clear, actionable user stories
• Strategic & hands-on: Able to own a roadmap while rolling up your sleeves to get things done
• Data-driven: Blend qualitative and quantitative insights to guide smart decisions
• Outcome-focused: Always clear on the why, the success metrics, and the impact
