Product Owner (Finance) – 12-Month FTC
A leading British lifestyle brand is seeking a Product Owner (Finance) to join its dynamic Operational Product team. This role bridges the gap between Finance and IT, helping shape and deliver the finance systems roadmap. It’s an exciting opportunity to influence how technology supports critical financial processes at an ethical, inclusive, and design-led company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for Finance’s technology needs.
- Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to deeply understand their processes and translate needs into technical requirements.
- Own and maintain the Finance product roadmap, ensuring visibility and clarity on priorities.
- Identify process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
- Coordinate with internal and external development teams on feature delivery.
- Lead small change initiatives and support wider product deployments.
- Provide end-user support and training to encourage adoption of systems and tools.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience with finance systems (ideally SunFinance) and knowledge of financial processes/regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to scope, document, and manage finance system requirements.
- Background in system implementations or finance transformation.
- Familiarity with project tools such as Jira/Confluence.
- Understanding of SQL and eCommerce platforms.
- Awareness of sales tax calculation and reporting processes.
- Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
