As our Product Sourcing Specialist on an initial 12-month contract, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process by securing essential product and stock samples. This will involve close collaboration with various internal teams, including our buying and distribution teams, as well as direct engagement with third-party brands and suppliers. Your efforts will support a diverse array of content briefs, which will range from exciting new product launches to other pivotal initiatives. Your ability to build relationships and efficiently navigate these partnerships will be vital in ensuring that we have the necessary materials to meet our content needs and drive our projects forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritisation - Plans and reviews workload regularly and is prepared to adapt to ever changing circumstances. Assesses workload realistically in terms of urgency and importance and is ready for "curve balls" and changes plans where necessary to ensure optimum achievement and deadlines are hit and stakeholder relationships are maintained.
- Stakeholder Management - Identifies who is impacted by or involved in your goals/objectives and therefore who is key to achieving the desired successful outcomes. Understands the motivations and priorities of these stakeholders and takes these into account in order to build and manage sustainable relationships. Can anticipate potential challenges stakeholders may bring and puts plans in place to achieve collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement - Thinks boldly and sees issues and opportunities from all angles and multiple perspectives, even the unprecedented to draw out meaning and connections and make recommendations to adjust strategy and outcomes as a result. Generates a number of workable options and overcomes barriers to finding solutions.
