Here at Charles Tyrwhitt, our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well.” We are on the hunt for a Administrative Assistant is to maintain and improve through applied technology the quality and value of all products in line with the business strategic direction.
What You Will Be Doing
Working with the Technical team you will provide support and ensure that the approval process and the quality management of products fulfil and exceed the company’s expectations.

Someone who can demonstrable professionalism in all aspects of the role and ensuring personal behaviour always reflects the values of the business. You will need to have excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to multi-task across projects.
A strong communicator you will have the ability to initiate and build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers. Attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritise and independently manage workload are key areas of this role.
Required Skills And Experience
- Provide support to the technical team, develop a close working relationship, across the buying, and design team, build a relationship with the suppliers.
- Coordinating and tracking samples from the suppliers in preparation for the fit sessions.
- Organise weekly fit sessions, Assist the Senior Technologist in sending fit comments to the suppliers, label and send approved products to the QC team.
- Updating the critical path. attend critical path meetings.
- Helping support the Senior in issuing and chasing wearer trail samples.
- Understand product costing and the implication of changes in product specifications on the cost price.
- Support and Handle customer inquiries, providing product information under the guidance of the senior.
- Managing invoices that come into the department and filing them.

Once upon a shirt, Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler (whilst studying Geography at Bristol University – we might add) had the notion that he could make a better shirt at better value than anyone else in the world! He believed that all men; no matter their shape or size, where they may be in the world or indeed their budget; should be able to own a Jermyn Street quality shirt. A proper shirt. A CT shirt.
That was over 3 decades ago and whilst Charles Tyrwhitt (it rhymes with spirit by the way) is still famous for proper shirts, these days we are about so much more than collars and cuffs. Our purpose is to “make it easy for men to dress well”. We take care of a chap’s entire wardrobe, providing stylish solutions for every occasion. We make sure he gets what he wants, when and how he wants it.
Our spiritual home and flagship store is located on London’s famous Jermyn Street. Our Global Head Office is in London Bridge, whilst we also have an office in Manhattan to support our retail and online presence across North America, Europe and Australia. Not forgetting our Distribution Centre and Contact Centre in Milton Keynes.
