As a Product Training Specialist, you will be responsible for core activities including but not limited to:
• Analyzing target audience – Utilizes stakeholder input to categorize learners by general traits such as prior knowledge/experience, learning preferences or goals
• Utilizing subject matter experts – Efficiently gathers SME input against deliverables, clarifies expectations and timelines, manages conflicts and escalations
• Project planning – Identifies major milestones and deliverables, utilizes planning tools, documents timeframes and basic resource needs
• Learning breakdown structure – Groups related learning materials into modules or lessons, follows ADDIE design model to maximize learner retention
• Creating & maintaining Content – Incorporates visuals, stories and interactivity to create engaging content that aligns with learning objectives
• Learning outcomes – Measures learner knowledge retention & understanding against desired learning outcomes for each course or curriculum
• Training user experience – Creates role tailored training to resolve practical business challenges to maximize the learning experience
• Quality control – Identifies and corrects obvious errors and omissions in training & enablement materials & communications, utilizes peer reviews
• Portfolio management – Utilizes learner feedback & surveys to understand gaps and areas for improvement in our training portfolio
As a Product Training Specialist, you are expected to have the following skills:
• Prioritization & time management – Able to manage time to meet deadlines across multiple tasks or projects based on urgency vs importance
• Project contribution & management – Able to manage small projects or parts of larger ones with limited supervision
• Stakeholder management – Able to classify stakeholders by interest, influence, or impact providing guided communication with stakeholders
• Communication – Able to produce appropriate communications, in most routine situations, across multiple media
• Collaboration – Able to exchange information and ideas with colleagues working towards a common goal
• Presentation skills – Able to create and present information clearly in a logical organized way
• Problem solving – Able to identify problems and apply known resolutions to resolve without supervision
• Strategic understanding – Able to understand and communicate the Product Training & IFS Global Strategies, able to understand and link projects to the departmental strategy
Essential:
• English (minimum = CEFR B2)
• Related professional qualifications and/or 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of adult Learning & Development concepts and practices.
Desirable:
• Experience as a trainer or training coordinator.
• Experience in creating and maintaining digital learning content
• Experience in content creation tools and LMS
