About the role
We are looking for a Production Manager with a strong background in technical development and drafting, as well as excellent organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, including supplier management, budgeting, and scheduling.
The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the production of projects within the agreed scope, budget, and timeline. This includes effective follow-up and clear communication of project updates to clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams.
The Production Manager will work closely with the creative and project management teams in the UK, technically developing and managing a wide range of projects, including:
· Permanent retail stores
· Temporary installations (pop-ups and showrooms)
· Window displays
· Point-of-sale (POS) materials
· Interior design and bespoke furniture
Key Responsibilities
· Actively participate in the development and launch of the Acierta UK Workshop, defining a plan aligned with production needs and industry standards.
· Channel and coordinate production carried out from the Workshop, in close collaboration with local and international teams.
· Improve, expand, and develop the network of local production suppliers in the UK.
· Analyse and understand technical and design briefs in collaboration with the team.
· Define, coordinate, and manage the technical development and production of projects (materials, dimensions, quantities, and element identification).
· Coordinate and oversee production and suppliers, ensuring timelines, costs, and quality standards are met.
· Establish project objectives, schedules, and monitor project deliverables.
· Keep relevant stakeholders informed of project progress and potential risks.
· Attend follow-up meetings with HUBs and clients.
· Organise production meetings to review processes and quality control.
· Attend installations and on-site assemblies when required.
· Willingness to travel for work-related meetings or installations (UK, EU, and Middle East).
Requirements
· Degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
· Proven experience in technical development, production, and installation within sectors such as temporary architecture, exhibitions, trade fairs, or retail.
· Proficiency in software tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhinoceros, MS Office, and Adobe Suite.
· High level of English and Spanish (desirable)
· Strong planning and project management skills.
· Excellent verbal, written, and organisational skills.
