We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to join a leading European manufacturing company. This innovative organisation specialises in producing highly functional components for a diverse range of industries.
In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating various production teams, managing procurement, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure smooth and efficient work flows. This role is based at their facility in the West Berkshire area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all post-build production activities, including finishing, post-processing, and quality control.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of parts to customers, meeting agreed-upon deadlines and quality standards.
- Manage procurement processes and raise necessary purchase orders.
- Oversee and coordinate effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and with external partners.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide strong leadership and motivation to the production team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure all manufactured parts are thoroughly cleaned, properly prepared, and securely packaged according to established procedures.
- Act as a central point of coordination and communication between production teams.
- Proactively ensure the manufacturing process runs smoothly and according to planned schedules.

- A hands-on approach and a willingness to work closely with the production team on the shop floor.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining processes for ensuring parts are cleaned, prepared, and packaged to required standards.
