Production Manager

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Electron-X are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with suitable qualifications and in-depth understanding of mechanical production processes and electro-mechanical equipment to head up our in-house & site work.

This is an exciting role within a talented team, with plenty of opportunity for personal and career development. You must be highly motivated and keen to develop your skills and experience on a wide range of industrial x-ray equipment.

The role will involve:

·       Hands-on working with a small team in our workshop and on sites across the UK

·       Coordination and monitoring of the workload & resources

·       Delivering work on budget & to required quality standards

·       Keeping our workshop & sites equipped, tidy & organised

·       Team and individual skills and work development

·       Close liaison with our Design and Projects teams

You should have:

·       Leadership experience

·       Appreciation of the nature & demands of engineering project work

·       Experience of using hand and power tools and workshop machinery

·       Ability to understand engineering drawings

·       Very good understanding of health and safety

·       Strong communication skills

·       Very good organisational & planning skills

·       Ability to problem solve & stay positive & constructive

·       Great MS Office skills and good written and spoken English 

·       Full clean driving licence

Electron-X designs, constructs and installs industrial x-ray rooms and cabinets. Specific experience in the x-ray sector is not required as training will be provided.

The role is based at our office in Milton Keynes, with some sitework. Standard working hours are 38 hours a week, normally between 9am-5pm Mon-Fri.
