As a Production Manager – Load-out, you will be responsible for continuing our progress in developing a world class manufacturing environment, and positive company culture, in support of our strategic growth plan.
As a Production Manager – Load-out, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a medium sized manufacturing unit with a budget : 5 million.
- Performing daily operations within the plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including Service Shops.
- Communicating, involving and engaging the workforce in delivering the business plan in support of the Plant Manager.
- Managing an operation in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
- Conducting frequent interactions at Manager level with Engineering, maintenance, planning and enabling functions about technical and organisational alignment.
- Ensuring continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
- Ensuring effective and efficient use of all resources involved in the provision of our products and services.
- Handling complex manufacturing processes with variety due to customization to client needs.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Have significant experience in Operations and Budget Management.
- Have a proven track record of delivering performance improvement through managing a cross-functional team.
- Have established project management skills.
- have sound oral and written communication skills.
- Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to analyse and resolve problems.
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to lead large scale projects and document, plan, market, and execute programs.
