Production Planner

A high performance engine manufacturing business is looking to bring a Production Planner into their operations team. This role plays a key part in ensuring manufacturing activity is accurately scheduled, materials are available, and customer demand is met without disruption. The Role

In this position, you’ll take ownership of production scheduling, resource planning and material coordination, ensuring manufacturing targets are met efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules aligned with customer demand and inventory targets.
• Coordinate material supply requirements, collaborating with purchasing, warehouse teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Create and manage production and purchase orders, ensuring accurate data is maintained within the ERP system.
• Monitor capacity, propose recovery plans, and participate in daily production planning reviews to minimise downtime and optimise workflow.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, planning principles, and capacity scheduling.
• Experience using ERP systems within a planning function (SAP experience beneficial).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational and time-management skills.

This position is based 5 days a week onsite working within a lucrative company who supply high value engines and engine components to customers across the Automotive and Motorsport industries.
