If you have a real eye for detail, our Quality and Paint Repair schemes are made for you. Here at Nissan, we've designed our 2-year apprenticeships for people just like you. You'll split your time between learning at college, and getting stuck into hands-on work in our world-class manufacturing plant.

Our scheme blends hands-on experience with first-rate college learning, designed to help you develop as far as you want to go. Shift work is part of the role, but the rewards are exceptional-we invest in our apprentices because we believe in your potential. What You'll Need

• 4 GCSE grades or equivalent (achieved or predicted):
• Mathematics (Grade A-C or 5+)
• English (Language or Literature) (Grade A-C or 4+)
• Two other subjects (Grade A-C or 4+)
• At least 1 years post 16 education or experience in engineering / welding
• A positive attitude and motivation to learn
• 16 or over at the start of your apprenticeship
• Ability to travel to Nissan Sunderland SR5 3NS and local college sites
• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have ordinarily resided in the UK & Islands for at least 3 years by Sept 2026)
  
  

What You'll Be Doing

• Split your time between college learning and working within our world-class manufacturing plant

Collaborate with Nissan teams across Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to identify and resolve quality issues

Learn essential skills and theory for your role, including correct use of tooling and equipment, machinery operation, and lean methodology (such as 5S and Kaizen tools-training provided)

Develop lean manufacturing knowledge and perform specialist tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe working policies

By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll have the opportunity to achieve:
