Reporting to: Production Manager

Industry: Aerospace / MRO

As a key people leader, you’ll support the Production Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met. In their absence, you’ll take the lead—managing teams, driving change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and inspire operational teams to meet and exceed safety, quality, and delivery targets.
• Champion lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive performance through clear communication, coaching, and development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimise workflows and business outcomes.
• Support change management and foster a culture of engagement and accountability.

What We’re Looking For:

• HNC/HND or equivalent in engineering or aircraft maintenance—or proven experience leading technical teams.
• Strong people management experience in a unionised, operational environment.
• Knowledge of MRO processes and aviation regulations (CAA/FAA/EASA).
• Skilled in performance management, coaching, and team development.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, and other business systems.
