Program Management Office Lead

Wipro is looking for a PMO Lead with previous experience of the UK Savings & Retirement sector, particularly both individual and workforce pensions. This is a new role which will be at the heart of the growth agenda for the organisation. The role will have a primary focus on supporting the successful delivery and execution of major strategic programmes and projects

As a PMO Lead you will be a part of the Insurance Practice where we help insurance companies transform the way they do business through digital powered customer experience & analytics/cognition enabled business transformation. Our transformation consulting framework enables modernization & complete digitalization of insurance organization. Leading practices include - Sales & Distribution Transformation, POS Transformation, Underwriting Transformation, Claims Transformation.

Purpose of the Role:

The role will have a primary focus, supporting the delivery of one of our core strategic deal

Your Responsibilities:

As the PMO Lead you will:

• Support the successful delivery and execution of major strategic programmes and projects

• Track project expenses related to staff, vendors, infrastructure, licenses

• Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings and analysis and make recommendations

• Track and improve financial status by analysing results and monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions

• Act as conduit amongst Squad Leads and Project Managers, Technology Finance and the Governance & Business Management teams on all aspects of Program governance and administration

• Lead and support the PMO team

• Report and escalate key risks and issues to management as needed

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

•Experience in PfMO/PgMO/PMO (Portfolio/Program/Project management office) that runs multiple cross-functional projects with interdependencies.

•Expert knowledge in managing the financials of IT projects

•Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills

•Strong presentation skills, including verbal presentation and developing compelling PowerPoint presentations

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

• Broad knowledge of the UK Savings & Retirement sector, particularly both individual and workforce pensions
