We are looking for an accomplished Transformation leader who can act as a trusted advisor to our clients, supporting them in their tech enabled transformation journeys. You’ll lead our engagements, being able to advise across all areas of delivery from programme set up, through complex data cleanse and migration cycles, test cycles, business change and readiness activities and through to cut-over and deployment. Your continuous pragmatic approach and ability to balance the requirements of the client's need to deliver at pace and to budget alongside managing risk, alongside leading our engagement teams, will be critical to the clients’ success.
Leadership & Management:
You’ll lead and manage multiple engagements at one time, working alongside a dedicated Director, while leading the junior team; coaching and developing their skills and experience around Independent Programme Assurance (IPA).
Stakeholder Interaction & challenges:
You’ll directly with senior stakeholders on client side (for example Programme Directors and CFOs) and can robustly and articulately describe risk and recommendations from IPA work. Can also work with senior team internally to both secure resource, deliver and sign off work.
Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance:
Contributing to risk management activities over large multimillion pound engagements which will run over a multi year period is rewarding work, and a key part of what you will do here. IPA work is by nature high risk and this role will therefore need to be adhering to all KPMG risk processes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive experience in practical delivery of end to end business transformation ERP programmes, with values of above £1m – You’ll understand the challenges involved and therefore the requirements of programme assurance.
- Full understanding of all critical workstreams including PMO, business change, business architecture, testing, data and cutover / transition and ability to lead focussed reviews in these areas.
- Strong awareness of the key risks a programme will generally experience throughout the life-cycle and critically what mitigations are required to course correct.
- Ability to convert observations into risks with clear impact articulation and tailored practical – rather than theoretical - recommendations
- Ability to manage multiple IPA pieces of work (stage gates, deep dives etc) and align to other client side assurance activities (such as IA driven work). Ability to speak to internal Q&A teams using the right language around 1st / 2nd / 3rd line etc.
- Ability to lead a junior team to deliver high quality outputs within a pressured environment, for example, health check reports, stage gate reviews and recommendations on whether a client is ready to progress to the next stage
- You’ll be able to coach junior team members with less delivery experience
- Ability to work across connected business bringing in relevant specialists from our SAP, MBS and other platform teams
- Ability to run with high value proposals and present confidently in pitches
