Programme Controllers to join our Capital Investment team. Key Purpose As a
Programme Controller, you’ll play a key role in providing accurate planning, scheduling, cost, and risk management support across our Capital Programme. Your insights will directly inform decision-making at the highest level, helping ensure we meet strategic outcomes on time, within budget, and with full transparency.
You’ll work across a diverse range of stakeholders—including Planning Managers, Portfolio Leads, Delivery Teams, and PMO—offering critical support and data that underpins successful programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programme and portfolio management with data-driven insight to optimise plans and enable smart investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain baseline delivery plans, forecasting schedules and financials with accuracy and clarity.
- Drive compliance with change, quality, and risk control standards across the project lifecycle.
- Provide assurance, analysis, and recommendations to help deliver key capital projects and mitigate risks.
- Facilitate clear, concise reporting that highlights threats, opportunities, and programme performance.
- Help set annual budgets and guide financial planning using robust, validated data.
- Work with planning tools and reporting systems, ensuring data integrity and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planning with operational and strategic priorities

Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our Falmer office and home.
