About The Role
SAE UK is seeking a dynamic and experienced
Programme Leader to lead our
Film and Media portfolio across our five UK campuses. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of creative education by overseeing a diverse programme that includes
Film Production, Screenwriting, VFX and Content Creation.
As Programme Leader, you will provide strategic and academic leadership, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning, and student experience. You will work closely with academic teams to drive innovation and excellence across curriculum development, programme delivery, and student engagement.
About You
You are a passionate and proven academic leader with a strong background in
Film, Media, or a related discipline. You bring:
- Substantial experience in undergraduate teaching and academic leadership
- A track record of leading teams, enhancing the student experience, and managing academic programmes
- A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with awareness of inclusive pedagogies and current debates such as decolonising the curriculum
- The ability to motivate and support staff, foster collaboration, and align academic vision with strategic objectives
- Ideally, an active research profile or industry practice that enriches your academic work and connects to the evolving landscape of film and media
