Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to deliver exciting initiatives across the business. The successful candidate will deliver and manage multiple projects across IT and business transformation initiatives. This role requires strong business-facing skills to engage and manage key stakeholders at all levels, as well as handle complex project timelines and deliverables. Proven experience in leading IT and change projects (end-to-end) is essential along with the ability to manage and work with third parties

This opportunity includes a high level of exposure to senior stakeholders and will be ideally suited to someone that has a strong work ethic, with a proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.

Key skills & Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering/managing multiple projects from inception to closure
• Experience in planning, designing and execution of major transformation projects and programmes throughout the full lifecycle. Proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
• Extensive expertise in project reporting, planning, forecasting and budgeting
• Experience in delivering IT and transformation projects
• Developing, implementing and updating resource allocations plans needed for projects, taking account of availabilities and scheduling
• Development and maintenance of project plans, identifying project dependencies and critical path analysis
• Assist in recording and documenting the project requirements and scope using the appropriate documentation depending upon delivery approach and methodology
• Identifying and monitoring project risks, planning and implementing responses to them and responding to other issues that affect projects
• Managing multiple stakeholders across different projects within the programme
• Have excellent communication skills – Written/Verbal

Experience

• Significant year of experience End to end delivery of technology and transformation projects/programmes
• Managing stakeholders, 3rd party suppliers and teams of all levels of seniority

Qualifications

• Industry recognised Project Management qualification

Attitude & disposition

• Highly presentable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Can-do attitude, with a strong work ethic and ability to manage tight deadlines
• Resourceful, insightful, and inquisitive - able to identify gaps or weaknesses in data and apply a methodical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work in a fast and dynamic environment
