This pivotal role leads cross-functional product development initiatives from early concept through to manufacturing and market launch. It requires close collaboration across engineering, supply chain, quality, operations, and commercial teams—with a strong focus on innovation, execution, and time-to-market performance.

We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven NPDI Programme Manager to lead the cross-functional execution of complex new product development and sustaining engineering projects. These initiatives span multiple departments, regions, and disciplines—and you'll be the driving force behind bringing them to life.
As the NPDI Programme Manager, you will coordinate with engineering, offering management, manufacturing, procurement, quality, logistics, sales, service, and more to optimize time-to-market, manage resources, and deliver products that shape the future of power and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional project planning and execution across global teams
Ensure on-time, in-scope, and within-budget delivery of new and sustaining product projects
Monitor schedules, identify risks, and implement contingency plans
Report on progress and KPIs to senior management and executive stakeholders
Maintain alignment with Vertiv’s NPDI processes and stage-gate practices
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the development lifecycle
Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments and geographies
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (MBA a plus)
Proven track record in managing cross-functional product development programs
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet
Experience in automation systems or 3-phase power distribution is highly desirable
