This role focuses on our efficiencies, how to operate and will be across all areas of change. It will play a vital role in challenging other leads and business areas on how they operate whilst playing a role in supporting them to find solutions. This role has a huge breadth and scope and will require someone that can cover a wide range of areas across the business. It will focus on providing expertise on reporting, analytics and increasing use of modern tools such as a PowerBI and AI.
This position is based at London Stratford Place. This is a 24 Month Fixed-Term opportunity.
Brief Description
To manage the development and delivery of a programme of change projects to agreed scope, time, cost and quality requirements, working with Function Directors, Executive Sponsors and their representatives. It will focus on providing expertise on reporting, analytics and increasing use of modern tools such as a PowerBI and AI.
About The Role (External)
Key Accountabilities
- Agree remit and success criteria of change projects with the relevant Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.
- Manage the development and delivery of a programme of change projects in compliance with company processes and procedures.
- Manage the production of project management plans for change projects.
- Act as project sponsor when required.
- Establish and manage collaborative cross-functional virtual teams to deliver change projects, where appropriate.
- Deliver regular progress reports on a programme of change projects, including relevant risks and issues, to Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.
- Manage project budgets within agreed targets.
- Promote and monitor the use of efficiency improvement methods.
- Disseminate lessons learnt.
Essential
- Relevant experience in the successful management of major and complex change programmes.
- Experience of applying programme / project methodologies
- Commercial and financial awareness.
Desirable
- Educated to degree level.
- Member of project association
- Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of/experience in the UK rail industry.
