Programme Manager | Brand Global (PPSM)
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Career Level: 8, Associate Manager
Function: Operations
Reports to: JLR Programme Director
Location: Birmingham / London (Hybrid)
We’re looking for a highly organised and experienced Programme Manager to oversee the delivery and project management of all work flowing through the Brand Global team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring projects meet key milestones and gateway approvals, escalating and mitigating risks both internally and with the client (Jaguar Land Rover) when necessary.
Partnering closely with the Business Director and Account Leads, you’ll play a key role in driving successful delivery, resource planning, and long-term forecasting. You’ll also manage a team of Project Managers and act as a central point of coordination across departments and disciplines.
This role is integral to maintaining integration across all channels, ensuring smooth end-to-end programme delivery. You’ll collaborate with Senior Launch Operations Managers on upcoming nameplate launches and work with Resource Directors to align internal teams on project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Ownership & Strategic Oversight
Take full ownership of Brand Global project delivery, proactively escalating risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, tracking milestones and gateway progress.
Drive alignment across internal teams including Account Management, Resourcing, Production, and Project Management.
Lead weekly Global Brief Triage meetings and maintain oversight of project pipeline.
Contribute to quarterly business planning through demand and capacity forecasting.
Project Management
Lead end-to-end project management for Brand Global initiatives.
Act as a key stakeholder in demand forecasting, collaborating with resourcing teams to ensure project readiness.
Maintain reporting dashboards to provide senior stakeholders with real-time project health insights.
Serve as the main point of contact in client and agency briefings, owning timelines and delivery expectations.
Ensure project delivery aligns with agreed roadmaps and RACI frameworks.
Identify and escalate risks early, presenting mitigation strategies when required.
Accountability & Risk Management
Own Brand Global project plans and delivery frameworks, including all gateways and key deliverables.
Monitor scope changes and align with JLR Delivery Lead on agreed actions.
Set clear delivery expectations and align with both Accenture Song and JLR priorities.
Actively manage risks to timelines, deliverables, and service levels, escalating when necessary to prevent commercial or SLA impact.
Run and manage the JLR Global Triage meeting to maintain visibility across projects.
Work with Resource Directors to flag and address over-capacity or resourcing issues.
Collaboration & Communication
Act as a key contributor to the QBR Demand Forecast process, ensuring accurate delivery timelines across the agency.
Maintain strong cross-functional relationships across Accenture Song, acting as the central point for Brand Global project timings.
Run integrated brand status meetings to maintain visibility and consistency across all teams.
Keep all relevant departments informed on project status, risks, and delivery plans.
What We're Looking For:
Strong career history working in programme or senior project management roles.
Solid agency background, ideally with experience delivering end-to-end advertising campaigns, including brand campaigns.
Proven ability to manage and prioritise a complex and diverse workload
Confident and experienced in client-facing roles, with strong presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Experience with Workfront (SynOps for Marketing) is an advantage but not essential
Strong focus on project management and operational delivery
Demonstrated experience in programme management and developing mitigation plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Comfortable working independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Previous experience working with Jaguar Land Rover or within the automotive sector is beneficial
