Project Accountant / Finance Manager - Interim role
6 month contract - £400 per day
London - hybrid working model
We’re looking for an experienced Project Accountant / Finance Manager to join a leading business involved in technology projects, on a 6‑month contract, paying £400 per day
The role
Reporting to the UK Finance Manager and working closely with the Design & Construction team across EMEA, this role will take ownership of end‑to‑end accounting processes for asset companies (SPVs). Key responsibilities include:
- Managing month‑end close, financial reporting, and analysis
- Reviewing results in line with Group policies and tight timelines
- Preparing financial statements and supporting audits
- Partnering with Design & Construction on budget vs actual monitoring
- Leading variance and trend analysis
- Ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies
- Driving process improvements and acting as the key finance contact for SPVs
This is a highly visible role offering exposure across both Finance and the wider EMEA business.
Who we are looking for
To be considered you need to be:
- A qualified accountant with SPV experience or equivalent
- Hands on management and financial accounting experience
- Strong experience of financial reporting and analysis
- Budgeting and cash management experience related to multiple projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
