Connectivity Projects Team Coordinator (Project Administrator)


Reporting directly to the Connectivity Projects Team Leader, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our Cloud Voice Migration initiatives. This pivotal role spans across all connectivity solution projects—covering both internal developments and business-as-usual operations.


As Chess continues its strategic transition to New World Products and consolidates its Cloud Voice supplier landscape, this position places you at the heart of transformation. You’ll play a key role in driving efficiency, ensuring seamless migrations, and supporting the growth of our connectivity portfolio.

Responsibilities, not limited to:


  • Achieve monthly migration targets to ensure timely and successful project delivery
  • Execute key project tasks and uphold critical deadlines across all phases
  • Engage and support customers throughout the migration journey, providing guidance and clear communication
  • Manage and monitor orders end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and progress tracking
  • Collaborate with senior internal stakeholders to align project goals and drive outcomes
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and project notes for transparency and continuity
  • Liaise with suppliers to escalate and resolve faults efficiently when required


The Candidate:


  • Keen to build knowledge of connectivity products, including fault diagnosis for broadband, phone lines, routers, and firewalls
  • Foundational understanding of modern network technologies and protocols
  • Effective communicator, confident under pressure and capable of engaging across all levels of the business
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a logical and objective problem-solving approach
  • Highly organised, with the ability to set clear goals and prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Resilient and self-motivated, maintaining high performance under pressure while working independently or collaboratively
  • Positive energy and proactive attitude that contributes to team dynamics and outcomes

Salary details: Up to £25,000 per annum

Hours: A standard week is 37½ Monday to Friday

Working location: Flexible, hybrid working position


This is a flexible hybrid position; however, you will be required to attend Chess hubs or customer sites as requested in advance by your leader. These visits will be scheduled with reasonable notice and are considered an essential part of your role to support collaboration, customer engagement, and team alignment.
