Our marketing organization produces a steady cadence of blogs, white papers, videos,
social campaigns, sales decks and more. We need a project manager who can keep that complex machine running smoothly owning the intake queue, aligning work to the master content calendar and ensuring every deliverable lands on time, on brand and on budget. Reporting to the Content Strategist, you will be the operational hub for a multidisciplinary creative team (copywriter, visual designer, PowerPoint designer, video editor/motion-graphics designer). You’ll triage incoming requests, confirm scope, gather missing info, assign resources, track milestones and communicate status to stakeholders across integrated marketing, field marketing, design and comms. In a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, you’ll enforce process without slowing the creative momentum.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Intake & Scoping
• Own the centralized request portal; evaluate each brief for clarity, objectives, audience, deliverables, timelines and budget.
• Follow up with requestors to capture missing assets, brand guidelines, legal requirements or KPI targets before work begins.
• Prioritize jobs against the master content calendar—balancing quick-turn needs with larger campaigns and launches.
• Project Planning & Resourcing
• Break projects into actionable tasks; develop timelines with clear dependencies, owners and milestone dates.
• Allocate workloads across copywriting, design, video and presentation specialists, flagging capacity constraints early.
• Route projects requiring legal, compliance or regional review into the proper workflows.
• Execution & Tracking
• Run daily or weekly stand-ups; drive status updates, identify blockers and facilitate solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date project plans in Wrike, our work-management platform.
• Report progress, risks and resource forecasts to the Content Strategist and senior marketing leadership.
• Quality & Alignment
• Verify that all creative aligns with Visa Direct brand guidelines, tone and campaign objectives before stakeholder reviews.
• Ensure version control and file-naming conventions are followed; coordinate final hand-offs to web, social and event teams.
• Monitor post-launch feedback and performance metrics; feed learnings back into the intake and
planning process.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Liaise with integrated marketing, field marketing, product, legal/compliance, PR and regional teams to synchronize timelines and approvals.
• Facilitate smooth localization hand-offs when assets require translation or market-specific adaptation.
• Champion process improvements that increase speed, visibility and quality.
