The role

A project architect/design manager is urgently required in our London office or remotely to assist our current residential development schemes. The applicant for this job role should have at least three years' post qualification experience. The applicant should be able to provide a track record of medium to large size residential projects experience. Candidate with extensive experience in Revit will be considered in advance.


Responsibilities

  • Work with the development team and head of creative management on architectural projects from inception to completion, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases.
  • Coordinate projects with project teams, including architects, designers, and consultants, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Collaborate closely with development team/clients to understand their requirements, develop design briefs, and translate conceptual ideas into functional and innovative architectural solutions.
  • Assist design reviews, presentations, and client meetings to communicate project progress, address feedback, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Monitoring and coach junior staff members, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to foster professional growth and development.
  • Assist project team on monitoring project budgets, schedules, and resources, and proactively identify and address any potential risks or challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, best practices, and regulations, and incorporate them into design strategies and project deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, creativity, and excellence in architectural design.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture and a minimum of three years’ experience post- RIBA Part 3 or equivalent certification
  • Expert in architectural design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong experience in high-end residential architecture
  • Strong knowledge of parametric design principles, design for manufacturing, and product development processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly creative with strong multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
