Salary: Circa £32,000 depending on skills and experience plus bonus
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting the project leadership team in the management of tasks and work packages
- Support the planning, resource and financial monthly update cycle
- Carry out data analysis of the project performance and produce reports for the project leadership team
- Update and report the status of risk and opportunities
- Assist in the project Lifecycle Management (LCM) processes
- Coordinating meetings and reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with multi-discipline team members to drive effective problem solving
- Build strong relationships with the team and key internal and external stakeholders
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Awareness of project management fundamentals
- Previous Administration/ Coordinator experience
- Worked in a project environment or supporting a project management team
- Competent in data gathering and analysis (Pivot tables)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Desirable
- APMQ or similar project management qualification
- Competent in Microsoft Project

The Project Management – Electronic Systems Team
The Project Management – Electronic Systems team is responsible for extremely complex and innovative projects, we are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Assistant Project Manager. You will assist the Project Manager with day-to-day management activities in order to meet the project’s time, cost, and quality goals.
The Electronic Systems (ES) sector spans the commercial and defence electronics markets with a broad portfolio of mission-critical electronic systems, including flight and engine controls; electronic warfare and night vision systems; surveillance and reconnaissance sensors; secure networked communications equipment; geospatial imagery intelligence products and systems; mission management; and power-and energy-management systems.
