Responsibilities
- Lead the project team and supply chain to deliver against contractual and programme requirements.
- Ensure the safe execution of deconstruction activities in compliance with all nuclear safety, environmental, and regulatory obligations.
- Act as the principal interface with the client, regulators, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee project governance, reporting, risk, and change management.
- Drive performance across safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Provide leadership to ensure high levels of team engagement, collaboration, and accountability.
- Escalate issues and risks appropriately, maintaining transparency with senior leadership.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Demonstrated experience of leading complex projects in highly regulated nuclear decommissioning, infrastructure, or similarly regulated environments.
- Proven ability to act as contract holder, accountable for delivery against performance commitments.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and major subcontractors.
- Understanding of UK nuclear safety and regulatory frameworks.
- Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional standing
- Track record of stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
- Full APM membership
