We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Services UK & Nordics team in Birmingham.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Services UK & Nordics team in Birmingham.

This is your opportunity to manage complex engineering projects from one of the UK’s most advanced facilities, featuring state-of-the-art technology and seamless digital workflows.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects.
- Assist in defining project scopes, resource needs, and schedules.
- Review technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to keep projects on track.
- Monitor budgets, support cost control, and prepare documentation for tenders and changes.
- Ensure quality plans are in place and support inspections, testing, and reporting.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and help develop mitigation strategies.
- A recognised in engineering or business, or substantial relevant experience in a related industry.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and commercial contracts.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
