Project Engineer

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to deliver complex, high-value project-based works across electricity distribution networks up to and including 132kV. You will lead technical development, engineering design, feasibility studies, construction oversight, and the safe, efficient delivery of multiple concurrent projects. These projects are across various locations including the North East and Yorkshire areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and engineer the design and delivery of project-based works.
• Produce, review and validate technical designs, specifications, cost estimates and feasibility solutions.
• Manage site investigations, project risks, audits, inspections, CDM responsibilities.
• Lead customer, stakeholder and contractor engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain programme, cost, quality and safety compliance, including reporting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with Company processes, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide Enhanced Project Engineer Services where required, taking a key role in planning, monitoring, forecasting and programme reviews.

Requirements:

• Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering (Degree preferred).
• Proven background in electricity distribution / transmission, experience as a Project Engineer.
• Strong technical knowledge of all distribution asset classes up to 132kV.
• Eligible / able to obtain Company Operational Authorisation.
