We have an exciting opportunity to bring innovative ideas to work on Interurban Projects supporting the SWARCO project delivery team. Ensuring all project equipment fully complies and is approved to the relevant Highways England and European Standards. Using your skills in Network Communication and Roadside Infrastructure and offer a practical and pragmatic management of projects with Highways England standard and ways of working. You will also:
- Ensuring new designs are compliant with Highways England and other European Standards.
- Providing detailed testing plans including - Factory Acceptance testing, Soak testing and customer approval.
- Providing technical detail on Variable Message Signs and NMCS2 Protocols and how to integrate these into wider projects.
- Defining and completing project documentation and stored according to company processes.
- Developing and Planning communication infrastructure particularly at the equipment deployment.
- Leading the resolutions of issues, faults, testing, delivery and post-installation service.
- Preparing and conducting Training courses on SWARCO products and systems.

What We Are Looking For
- Higher National Cert/Degree (Engineering or related field) OR equivalent experience in a similar environment.
- Technical Communication knowledge including - Ethernet, VPN Tunnel Config, Router Config, ADSL/4G, Factory acceptance testing, Soak testing.
- Demonstrated experience of Network Management Card 2 and National Roads Telecommunication Services.
- Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal).
