Job Description
What will you be doing?
Are you a strategic engineering leader ready to take full ownership of complex, high-impact projects? We’re looking for a Project Engineering Manager to oversee engineering delivery across multidisciplinary teams within a dynamic and innovative organisation operating at the forefront of engineering and sustainable technology.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of engineering project execution, ensuring safety in design and adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Take full accountability for project delivery — on time, on budget, and to the highest quality
- Manage the overall engineering strategy and scope across multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate seamlessly with both internal teams and external partners to drive effective collaboration
- Lead risk and change management processes to proactively address issues and minimise impact
- Engage cross-functionally with centres of excellence, operations, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing technology to align project objectives
- Drive continuous improvement and value engineering throughout the lifecycle
- Build, inspire, and manage a high-performing engineering team
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and other safety governance frameworks
Who are we looking for?
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners
- Excellent understanding of safety in design, risk management, and value engineering practices
- Proficiency in CDM Regulations and their application in project environments

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Strong background in project engineering or engineering management within industrial, process, energy, or manufacturing environments
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale engineering projects
- Effective communication and leadership skills to manage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience implementing engineering governance and driving technical excellence
- Degree-qualified in Engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.)
- Project management certification (e.g. APM, PMP) is advantageous
