About Us:

ReWay infrastructure, a TDI Greenway company, is a railway business that specialises in defining and reinstating track for use by Very Light Rail (VLR) vehicles. After reinstatement, ReWay will set up a focused track maintenance team that will be responsible for keeping the track and infrastructure operational and compliant.

In short, ReWay has two simple mantras:

• ‘Make it Work’ – Installation/reinstatement of infrastructure for rail-based vehicles
• ‘Keep it working’ - Maintain infrastructure to keep route in service

The Opportunity:

As a Project Lead, you will be at the forefront of delivering critical rail infrastructure, managing every aspect of project execution, from initial planning to final implementation. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. This is a dynamic role that offers the chance to shape the success of key infrastructure projects, contribute to industry best practices, and drive innovation in rail construction and operations.

What you will do:

• Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure the successful delivery of Line 1 infrastructure projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with program goals.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams across the group, including procurement, safety, and engineering, to resolve project challenges.
• Engage with stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
• Conduct project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Report project progress to senior management, addressing critical issues and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• This is likely to be site based for the majority of the time (duration of the projects) and therefore you must be comfortable with this way of working which is likely to require 5 days on site the majority of the time.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in project management within the rail or infrastructure sector, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as MS Project or Jira (preferred but not essential).
• Skilled in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and quality assurance processes to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Solid understanding of procurement, contract management, and the commercial and financial aspects of infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, balancing hands-on technical execution with stakeholder expectations.
• A proactive, ‘can-do’ team player who is comfortable working in a small, agile team, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to find practical solutions to challenges.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with experience in motivating and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, enabling seamless collaboration with contractors, engineers, regulatory bodies, and senior leadership.

If successful, you will then proceed to a 2-stage interview process, which may be conducted face-to-face or via Teams.
