Brief Description
The programme management team in North West Route works with colleagues across all functions to deliver a portfolio of projects and programmes. We manage the Route data and information management processes so that Route teams can be confident in data quality and make better decisions that lead to better outcomes.
T he team's key focus is
delivery – working with those impacted by the projects and programmes to drive a people-centred approach to structured change management. We are a friendly team who work closely together and are passionate about delivering for our customers.
The Project Management Assistant (PMA) will support the NW programme management team – focussing on communications, facilitation and administration, reporting and programme controls.
About The Role (External)
Specific responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the creation of the programme communication plan (in conjunction with the programme / project managers and NW Route comms teams)
- SharePoint site creation, ongoing management and ownership
- Programme / project controls: action and RAID log management, general periodic and ad hoc reporting; working with the team to develop programme and project plans and the ongoing management of them
- Programme planning / data / reporting support to the Head of Programme Management
- General team facilitation and administrative support
- Taking the lead on smaller projects or individual workstreams
The position is key to facilitating delivery across the Route, with the person expected to focus on communications, planning, SharePoint on line creation and general administrative support.
In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have/to be:
- Educated to HND/HNC level or relevant work experience
- Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills,
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
- Strong organisation skills

- Salary: Starting at £28,000
