Project Management Officer

We have a fantastic opening for a Project Management Officer to join our Group Operations Team.
Our Backstage support teams are crucial to the delivery across all five of our venues: The NEC, Bp Pulse LIVE, Utilita Arena Birmingham, the ICC, and Vox. Including IT, Finance, Marketing, People, Legal, Safety and Procurement. Collaborating seamlessly with our frontline operational teams to create unforgettable moments for the millions of people that visit us each year.
About The Role
This role will provide proactive and dynamic support to a multi-faceted Project Team, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of projects across a multi site estate. The PMO will act as a central point of coordination, data management, and administrative support, contributing to the successful execution of schemes and compliance with health, safety, and contractor management standards.
Day To Day You Will
- Assist the Project Team in delivering multiple schemes, collaborating with departments and supporting engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain the Project Team SharePoint site and provide accurate data using company systems to support reporting and decision-making.
- Monitor contractor activities, ensuring adherence to company standards, CDM regulations, and Health & Safety policies.
- Manage PO submissions and provide logistical support.
About You
Our Ideal Candidate will:
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project and SharePoint.
- Experience in managing and analysing project data using internal systems.
- Knowledge of contractor management and CDM regulations.
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements in a project delivery context.
- Flexibility to travel across multiple sites within the Midlands.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to provide support.
