Overview
Are you a successful project manager? We’re looking for someone to join us and deliver a Business Change project within our UK Retail business.
The focus of the role will be to help drive forward the delivery of our Business Change and Regulatory projects working closely with stakeholders from across our business as well as our Enterprise Solutions (Central Service) functions.
This project will move at speed, therefore the successful applicant will have an excellent intellect to be able to understand the detail, engage in conversation with senior stakeholders, flex and adapt their communication style to meet different stakeholder needs, whilst all the time driving forward the delivery of the project and coordinating work internally and possibly also third party vendors.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced team, supporting key priorities around operational excellence, people and revenue growth. The successful candidate will be given the breadth of autonomy to take responsibility for delivery, will be challenged by the scale of the project and have the opportunity to build an effective network to help them deliver.
This role will can be performed anywhere in the UK and we offer hybrid working. A requirement will be to travel to Gallagher offices when required. This will be a 12 month fixed term contract however potential for this to be extended or even go permanent.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Manage the project in accordance with the Change Management Framework, defining project approach, resource requirements and estimating project delivery timelines
- Defining and agreeing project scope, outputs, timescale, quality, cost and benefits to ensure business requirements can be articulated, understood and agreed
- Defining, establishing and managing project structure, roles and teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Producing RAID logs and managing mitigation activities, including ongoing risk assessment
- Where applicable, working with Information Technology / external application vendors to include their costs, activities and deliverables within the overall project scope and approach, providing challenge and support to ensure technology related outcomes are achieved
- Creating high level and detailed documents, in order to effectively communicate with the project team, peers and stakeholders
- Act with integrity and sensitivity at all times, you could have access to confidential information, so discretion and the utmost professionalism is key
- Liaise with and manage design transformation resources. Share knowledge, experience and standard methodology when required.
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on business change and regulatory projects within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Demonstrated experience working with regulated entities.
- Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the insurance or financial services sectors.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex integration projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fantastic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Eligible to work in UK and travel will be required across our UK offices on occassion
