We are looking for a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our Transformation Team within the Resources Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering West Berkshire Council&©s Accommodation Review Programme$ûan initiative focused on optimising our use of space and improving how we work across the organisation.

The role
- Lead and manage accommodation-related projects within the Transformation Programme.
- Deliver projects using WBC&©s Project Management Methodology and governance framework.
- Provide regular updates to the Programme Manager, Transformation Director, and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong working relationships across departments to support project delivery.
- Promote the Council&©s values and ensure equality, health and safety, and customer service standards are upheld.
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications, skills and attributes
- Project Management professional qualification.
- At least 3 years&© experience in project management.
- Experience of working in a public sector environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
This role is fixed term until 31/12/2025 - Time limited project
