Job Summary
The Project Manager will support the delivery of telecoms projects by driving planning, coordination and execution activities under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager. The role ensures tasks are completed to agreed timelines and supports effective communication between stakeholders and helps maintain high standards across project documentation, procurement and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
· Monitor project progress and help ensure team members remain aligned with objectives.
· Track tasks, timelines and milestones to support timely delivery.
Communication
· Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status.
· Facilitate project meetings, record notes and follow up on agreed actions.
· Maintain clear and consistent communication across teams and with external partners.
Documentation
· Maintain accurate and current project records and documentation.
· Ensure all project files are correctly versioned, stored and archived.
Procurement
· Raise and log purchase orders in line with project requirements.
· Order equipment and materials as outlined in project plans.
· Consult with internal teams to confirm procurement needs and delivery expectations.
Risk Management
· Identify project risks and issues and assist with developing mitigation strategies.
· Track and escalate risks or issues to the Service Delivery Manager when necessary.
Resource Management
· Support the allocation and coordination of project resources.
· Ensure team members have the tools and information required to deliver their tasks.
Quality Assurance
· Assist in ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
· Take part in project reviews and post-implementation evaluations.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
· Relevant experience in project coordination or delivery is essential with a degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field considered an advantage.
· Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana or Trello.
· Experience working in telecoms or managed service environments is highly desirable.
Skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office - including Excel, Word, Outlook & Teams.
· Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
· High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Flexibility
· Willingness to work overtime when required to meet customer or project demands.
