Project Manager

Our client is a leading business in the design and delivery of custom subsea systems and instruments for some of the most demanding industries—Energy, Ocean Science, Defence, and Offshore Renewables. They are looking for a Project Manager who has proven experience in overseeing the design and manufacturing of high value, low volume products.

Main Responsibilities:

Own the project lifecycle – from planning and resourcing to delivery
Create and implement Project Management Plans with clear scope, milestones, and budgets
Lead gateway reviews, manage risks, and ensure compliance with ISO9001
Liaise directly with customers and stakeholders to guarantee satisfaction
Support bids with work breakdowns, schedules, and budgets
Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and team development

Experience

Proven project management expertise in an engineering environment
Strong leadership, delegation, and negotiation skills
Excellent communication – confident with customers and stakeholders
Degree in Engineering (BSc/BEng) or equivalent
Project management certification (APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or similar)
Experience managing low-volume bespoke engineering solutions
Knowledge of harsh environment design and integration projects
