Project Manager - Children’s Services

Responsible to: Head of Continuous Improvement

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE plus car allowance & mileage paid

Location: Home based with regular travel


CareTech is looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee multiple projects within our Children’s Services Performance Improvement team. You’ll work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly and deliver real impact.



What you’ll do:

  • Manage several projects, keeping everything on track and aligned with business goals
  • Communicate with senior leaders, project teams, and partners to keep everyone informed
  • Identify and resolve challenges, maintain risk logs, and report progress regularly
  • Use your experience with Prince2 or Agile to drive successful project delivery



What you’ll need:

  • A project management qualification like PRINCE2
  • Experience managing change projects and juggling multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office proficiency



Nice to have:

  • Experience in children’s social care or healthcare
  • Familiarity with project management tools like monday.com
