Digital Placement Strategy Project Manager

We’re partnering with a global corporate and commercial insurer to accelerate its digital placement and trading transformation. This role sits at the heart of a high-profile programme reshaping how underwriting capacity is placed, traded and scaled across international markets.

Working alongside the Digital Placement Strategy Lead, you’ll help design and deliver digital, augmented and algorithmic placement models that move the market forward.

Responsbilities:

Help define and deliver digital placement strategies across mid-market, large corporate, delegated authority and portfolio-driven business.
Support the rollout of data-first and automated trading models, including fast-flow placement, algorithmic follow capacity and augmented underwriting.
Shape the operating model for algorithmic placement, covering governance, authorities, risk controls, guardrails and human-in-the-loop decisioning.
Coordinate market technology selection and integration, spanning broker platforms, placement systems and core policy/claims ecosystems.

Drive change and adoption, engaging brokers, underwriters and internal teams through training, readiness and benefits tracking.

Support UK market pilots and enable scalable solutions across global business units.

What we’re looking for:

Extensive experience in corporate or commercial insurance, ideally across underwriting, placement, trading or digital transformation.
Hands-on delivery experience with digital, automated or algorithmic underwriting and placement initiatives..
Confident project manager with a track record of delivering complex change across underwriting, data and technology teams.
Strong communicator, comfortable influencing senior stakeholders
