Project Manager

As Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading our digital transformation projects, helping to shape the future of our services and operations. You will be responsible for managing specific projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with clinical, technical, and operational teams to implement new digital solutions that will enhance our services and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, experience in the healthcare or technology sector, and a passion for making a tangible difference.

To be considered for the the role you will require the following:


Essential Criteria;


EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject


EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) as a Project Manager, successfully delivering technology-focused projects
  • Recognised project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Agile/Scrum Master)
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering projects, preferably within the healthcare, technology, or a related regulated industry
  • Experience in managing project budgets, resource planning, and third-party supplier relationships


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge of digital health technologies (e.g., EHR, telehealth, patient portals)
  • Experience working in an SME or a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and effectively report on project progress and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and build strong working relationships
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing project requirements.
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Office

(Word, excel, PowerPoint etc.)

  • Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities to support the organisation as required

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory standards including working knowledge of GDPR

Within this position, you will mainly be;


  • Work with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of assigned digital projects.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Track project tasks and ensure milestones are met.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for your projects. Provide regular, clear, and concise status updates to the CTO and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage the project budget, track costs, and report on financial performance.
  • Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project-level risks and issues. Escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are fit for purpose.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and sign-off processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and lessons learned reports.
  • Support the implementation of change management activities to ensure end-users are prepared for and can adopt new systems and processes smoothly.

The person appointed to this role will report to the Chief Technology Officer. They will also work closely with other members of the SLT and staff at all levels.
