Role – Project Manager

Location – Glasgow, Scotland

Mint Selection are working with a leading renewable energy developer seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a portfolio of large-scale energy transition projects across the UK.

This role is ideal for a proven Project Manager with a strong background in utility-scale renewable generation, energy storage, or major infrastructure, capable of leading third-party EPCs, OEMs, and ICPs through all stages of project delivery from pre-construction to commercial operation.

Scope of Work:

Take full ownership of project delivery from mobilisation through to handover, ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, and programme requirements.
Lead and coordinate EPC, OEM, and ICP contractors on behalf of the asset owner, maintaining control over cost, schedule, and performance.
Oversee all site-based construction activities, ensuring strict adherence to CDM regulations, NEC contract frameworks, and company procedures.
Proactively identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation measures to ensure safe and efficient delivery.

Serve as the key interface between contractors, consultants, grid operators, local authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Manage project reporting, scheduling, and cost forecasting, ensuring accuracy and transparency at all times.

Support tendering, contract negotiation, and contract administration processes throughout the construction lifecycle.

Lead site inspections, quality assurance, and commissioning activities to ensure zero-defect handover.

Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all works in line with company and legislative standards.

Requirements:

Proven track record delivering infrastructure or renewable energy projects from pre-construction through to commissioning.
Strong experience managing NEC contracts and third-party contractors.
Background in client-side or hybrid client/contractor project delivery environments.
Experience managing DNO or transmission-connected projects and coordinating with local councils and grid operators.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Competent in project budgeting, risk management, and progress reporting.

This is a 6-month contract outside IR35 with a full-time office requirement of 5 days per week in Glasgow.
