Project manager - Data management
Responsible for the execution of data management projects from Scoping and Estimation, Discovery, Categorization and Treatment, Execute, and Closure.
Project management experience
- Experience of leading complex projects with multiple business stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively manage high levels of parallel activity with significant numbers of internal and external dependencies.
- Experience of managing million (£) operational and change budgets.
- Strong third-party vendor management.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management – ability to help people prioritise long term strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated experience of delivering features in an agile environment.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and problem-solving skills. Strong influencing skill.
- Experience of implementing solutions that span geographical boundaries and time zones.
- Experience of delivering projects within an M&A context would be an added advantage.
Functional experience
- Data identification and assessment, Data mapping and migration, Data Quality Assessment and Remediation, Data Security and Compliance and Data Retention
- Coverage of unstructured, structured, and physical records – both held within the enterprise and also third-party suppliers.
- Compliance requirements of applicable regulatory processes (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
- Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
- Experience with cloud computing architecture and security.
